OPTOKINETIC (OKN) STIMULI

As a service to our patients, Chicago Dizziness and Hearing provides "optokinetic stimuli" that they sometimes use to treat dizziness (with habituation). These can be use on a large screen monitor, or as well with VR goggles. Please consult with your health care provider concerning whether or not these treatments are a good idea for you.

Click on these choices to open up visual stimulus in new window. The arrow keys will start the stimulus moving, with repeated presses making it go faster. These work for right/left/up/down.

These all use javascript, and if your browser does not run javascript, these will not run either. As they run locally, the speed may degrade if your processor is not a fast one.

If someone has a good "Umbrella" OKN stimulus, we would love to put it up here.
