Privacy and cookies

This site does not ask for or collect your name, email address or any account information, and it does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Cookie:

To tell human visitors from automated programs, the site sets one short-lived cookie that records whether your browser runs JavaScript. It lasts five minutes (one minute if your browser does not run JavaScript), contains no personal information, and is not used to track you.

Server records:

Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider record the Internet address (IP address) of each visit, the pages requested and the type of browser, in order to protect the site from abusive automated traffic. Records used for this protection are kept for up to one year and then deleted. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Third-party services:

Pages load standard code libraries (Bootstrap, jQuery) from other companies’ servers, and some pages embed YouTube videos. When your browser loads these, the company that runs the service receives your IP address and is subject to its own privacy policy.

Medical information:

Do not send personal health information through this site. Nothing here is a secure or confidential channel. See also the Disclaimer.
