These test results illustrate findings in a patient with classic Meniere's disease.


Low frequency hearing loss on the right

sweep oae

No otoacoustic emmisions on the right. The distance between the black and red line (signal to noise), is zero on the right.


ECOG shows High SP/AP ratio on both sides


Normal caloric test. This is unusual in Meniere's -- usually caloric tests are reduced on the deafened ear side.


Reduced VEMP test on the right (can also be normal or enlarged).
