This page is for those who are wanting to configure their evoked potential apparatus to do VEMP testing. These are the parameters that we have used in the past. The main VEMP page is here. These values are the ones we use for our Bio-Logic Nav-Pro. We run two channels (ipsilateral and contralateral), stimulating one ear at a time.
A1 is the left "summation" channel. It contains two runs of 200 (A2 is an example of one of them). The "B" channels are similar.
Inserts (of the usual type with a cyllinder of foam surrounding a small tube) are used. We advise against using other types that might become stuck against the side of the ear canal. We also advise against using circumaural earphones as the intensity of the sound can vary considerably when the head is lifted and headphones shift.
