Dr. Hain is locally known as the "Dizzy Doctor". Dr. Hain's clinical activities naturally "revolve" around evaluating and treating dizzy individuals as well as persons with hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis. The rest of his time is spent on research projects aimed at improving the care of hearing impaired or dizzy patients (especially those with gentamicin toxicity or perilymph fistula), mathematical modeling of vocal and head motor control, and driving his children around. He is particularly interested in Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo as well as vestibular ototoxicity. Dr. Hain also likes the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and Pinot Grigio wine. Dr. Hain was selected to be included in the Best Doctors in America on several occasions.
